Faith rarely calls upon us at the moment of our choosing

D.Gray-man (ディーグレイマン ,Dī Gureiman^?) is an ongoing Japanese manga series. The series tells the story of a boy named Allen Walker who is able to use an ancient substance called Innocence, and becomes an Exorcist in order to collect all the Innocence that is lost in the world alongside other Exorcists and to defeat the Millennium Earl who possesses an army of akuma.
I decided to put up this post for fun... lol! The anime was one of the tops when it just came out.

Allen Walker ( the main character ) is your template good guy: idealistic, naive, honest, (somewhat feminine looking) and devours food like a black hole. Nevertheless Allen is a likable character. ( by girls )

Lenalee Li is most likely the next most prominent character in the manga & anime and the most likely candidate as Allen's love interest. Lenalee is feminine, caring and loyal . She loves her kooky and somewhat irresponsible brother, also supervisor of the science division, Komui Li, and values her friendships, her one with Allen in particular. Another template and not amazingly unique character, I just like Lenalee because her innocence, 'dark boots' are so damn sassy and powerful in the later parts of the anime.

Road Noah makes a more compelling 'bad-guy' figure then the Millennium Earl himself (a lot more notable in the manga then the anime) who just pops in to create Akuma and drops out again, whereas Rhode takes the time out of her busy school schedule to terrorize Allen and the gang.

D.Gray-Man struck me as very unique and gripping, especially in the beginning, I was hooked for days at a time. This anime is just so wonderful~~
